Wonderful 2 or 3 days horse riding trek departing from Civitella Marittima, a small village on the top of a hill in the South of TUSCANY, reaching the FARMA VALLEY, a very big and green wild area.

The Farma River, which run through a Regional Park, offer beautiful views like the BELAGAIO CASTLE  ( 2 days trek ) , where the Forestry Commission graze their horses, the CANALONI WATERFALLS (3 days trek) or the VOLTACCIA, a lonely beach along the river, where during the summer it is possible to take refreshing baths.

 

--2 DAYS TREK--

1° day:

-From Civitella Marittima to the Farma river valley, crossing the Regional Farma Park, reaching Torniella, a small typical village nearby the forest.

-LUNCH, dinner and overnight in a Refuge in the forest.

2° day:

-From Torniella village to Civitella Marittima along the wild  River.

In the summer it is possible to take a restoring bath at the Canaloni, a wild lonely place along the river.

-Lunch in the forest.

1° day:

-From Civitella to Torniella, a medieval village among the Hills.

-Lunch in the forest.

-Dinner and overnight in a private house.

2° day :

-From Torniella to the wild Farma Valley.

-Lunch, dinner and overnight in Refuge in the forest.

 

3° day:

-From the Refuge to Iesa.

Riding day along the most beautiful Farma Valley's path. We will stop at the SASSO BIANCO, a very lovely and wild river creek where it is possible to have a swimm.
